METAMORPHOSIS
By linking the virtual and the real through
3D and AR technologies, following the qualities of human identity and the
fluidity of the image in virtual space, This project attempts to shift the
bounded, biological-physical body of the human being into an open, fluid,
fantasy and free body in the process of entering the metaverse era.
The audience starts with the ‘otherkin’, for every human being who has fantasies about the identity of beasts, mythical animals, etc., and tries to construct a community in which you can be whatever you want to be.

Unlike Kafka's use of 'Metamorphosis' as a
negative expression of human alienation, the Metamorphosis in this project
points to a utopian change in which, through metamorphosis on this platform,
the human being is given a second body different from the real physical body
and not separated from "we" ourselves and our experiences.
On the other hand, Metamorphosis, set at the moment when the metaverse is proposed, also implies that man has the potential to expand his body wirelessly in the future, from the physical body of the past, through virtual technology.
